Tuesday, Oct. 20th Rabbi Greene's class begins at 10:00 a.m. We shall continue our journey through the Bible as well as read Jewish short stories. All are welcome.  No previous experience nor Hebrew needed.

Shabbat , October 24th,   Our first Lunch and Learn session.  The Boker Tov Cafe will open at 9:00 a.m.  Regular services begin at 9:30 a.m. and our Carlebach minyon will begin at 10:30 a.m..  Based on the theme of Justice and Righteousness, Rabbi Greene will teach 3 court cases that changed Israel forever. RSVP for lunch by October 21st the cost is only $12.00. After October 21st the cost will be $18.00.

Marathon joins the community in remembering Kristallnacht, Sunday, November 1st at 2pm at Congregation L'Dor V'Dor (Oakland Little Neck JC) A panel discussion moderated by Beth Lilach.  Confronting Present Day Genocide.  Following the discussion we will be planting 360 daffodils bulbs as part of an international effort to plant 1.5 million daffodils in memory of the 1.5 million Jewish children who were murdered as part of the Holocaust. I encourage you to sponsor 36 daffodils at a cost of only $36.00  The profits from the sale of the bulbs will go to the Holocaust Center Nassau County.  Make your checks out to Rabbi's discretionary fund with a notation Daffodil and I shall forward the money.
